I’m a Lincoln, NE, born and raised kid that bleeds Husker Red. I attended Lincoln Lutheran Middle School/High School (2015-2018), a smaller parochial school in the middle of Lincoln, where I was a 3-sport athlete with football, basketball and Track. For College, I attended Concordia University in Seward, NE, where I was a 4-year member of the Bulldog Football
program. Football’s been a huge part of who I am and helped me develop the love I have for training. So much to the point of where I now am on the football coaching staff at Lincoln Lutheran, my alma mater. Now, having completed my football & athletic career’s. I’ve began to focus my own training more around body building than athletics, but I still implement athletic movements into my workouts as well. A few of my favorite hobbies include lifting, golfing, fishing and coaching.
I graduated from Concordia University, NE in May 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, with a focus in Strength & Conditioning. I myself have been training for 8 years, primarily for athletics, but have now finished my athletic career and am onto full time personal training and coaching. I’ve put together and ran my alma mater’s, Lincoln Lutheran, Summer Strength & Conditioning Program the last two summers (2021 and 2022). Being able to work with athletes is a blessing for me, as I used to be one myself, and I’m wanting to influence athletes to push themselves to find new limits for themselves, but also to potentially spur an interest in fitness/training in their lives. Some training experience of mine includes roughly 500 hours with collegiate athletes (Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball & Wrestling), as well as 200 hours with high school athletes and about 100 hours in the private sector. An experience I’d like to share about my past work is clients would be some training I did with my own father.
When the pandemic hit, and stay-at-home orders were put in place, my family decided to purchase “at-home” gym equipment to put in our garage so we could workout (since commercial gyms weren’t in operation, and my sister’s and I were all athletes and needed to get workouts in). From the end of May 2020 to July 2020, I worked with my dad 3-4x per week and ultimately helped him lose almost 75 pounds during that time!
A few FUN things:
- Favorite Color: Purple
- Food: Tator-Tot Casserole
- Activities: Football, lifting, golfing, coaching
Hello, my name is Kristin, I was born and raised in Lincoln NE. I attended Northeast High School, where I played Basketball and outside of school, I played on traveling volleyball teams and also loved to play softball and a little bit of soccer. I have played sports since I was a little girl, I loved the game and the relationships I was able to build with my teammates and coaches. I still love to play volleyball and coed softball when I can. I am married and have two dogs Maximus and Chance; they are my babies and very spoiled! I grew up in a very large family, so we were always busy and very active and have always loved the outdoors. The last 15 plus years I have worked in the medical field from Pediatrics, Orthopedics, to Cardiology. I enjoyed growing and learning in each of those fields. But that was not where my passion and heart was at anymore. For the last 10 plus years I have found a love for health and wellness. Over the last 5 years I have ran multiple 5ks and also completed 4 half marathons. I have gained a love for lifting weights and focusing on my nutrition. I am thankful for my husband who has supported my decisions and allowed me to follow my dreams. I decided to get my Personal Training Certificate in April of 2022. I am very excited to become a part of the Three Pillars Performance Team to learn and grow and help as many as I can along the way.
Hi I’m Jacob Ray (@jray.fitness)! I grew up in small town North Bend Nebraska, where I attended high school and was a three sport athlete. This year I will be finishing my undergraduate degree in Nutrition, Exercise, and Health Sciences at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, with the plan of moving onto a Doctorate Physical Therapy program. My experience training consists of an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Group Fitness Instructing
certification, over 900 hours training at Fit4Lincoln and just over 400 hours training for 3PP/Victory Sports. Having this opportunity over the years has been a great chance for me to not only improve my own knowledge with sports performance, fitness, and wellness training but has also really served as a
break for my day, where time always seems to fly by. Along with this, it has really impacted me positively seeing how far some of our athletes have made it over the past programs and will continue to be a very cherish able memory for me. Reaching goals, completing new challenges, or even nailing nutrition is all apart of the endless journey of reaching optimal health and I couldn’t be any more proud to be apart of your pursuit here at Three Pillars Performance.
Some fun things about me:
My favorite color is orange, go to food is pancakes, and I have a wide variety of hobbies including: golfing, skateboarding, practicing kendama tricks, slacklining, and even hockey during the winter months.
Hi, I’m Emry Heiss! I am a junior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where I am majoring in business management. I grew up in Pierre, South Dakota, and I spent a lot of my time boating on the river, hanging out with family and friends, and staying active in competitive sports or working out on my own. I grew up competing in various sports, including volleyball, track and field, basketball, and studio dance. The sports I played in high school were very influential to me. They are why I found a love for fitness and activity. 2 years ago, I began working as a personal trainer. Then I found Three Pillars Performance and started helping with sports performance for people of different ages. Although I did not decide to focus my studies on fitness, it is my passion. I am very fascinated with learning the different ways to train and improve people’s bodies so we can perform at our highest potentials. I am so excited to help train and connect with 3PP athletes!

Hey, I'm a native of Arlington, Texas. In August of 2018, I arrived in Nebraska to continue my education and football career. In May of 2023, I graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska with my bachelor's degree in Recreation and Sports Management.
My passion for athletic performance began during my football career at Arlington High School. I was surrounded by other athletes who were naturally highly skilled. I knew that in order to put myself in a position to succeed, I would have to outwork those around me. I did just that as I took every opportunity to become a better athlete. This involved working with trainers, staying after hours to get extra work in, and putting myself through workouts in my free time. This paid off as I ended my high school career as a 2 year varsity starter, and was recognized as one of only five athletes since 2001 to never miss a single day of our optional summer workouts throughout my high school athletic career.
This passion for athletic performance continued as I began my collegiate athletic career. At Concordia I played a role on defensive as freshman, and started the next two before my career was ended due to injury. As the quote goes, "every athlete dies twice..."...I have yet to let the first happen. Immediately after my recovery and being cleared to workout again, fitness has been all my life revolves around. I believe that with any given will, we are all athletes in some capacity. Ultimately one's physical condition goes hand in hand with how they feel mentally (e.g. attitude, confidence).
I am excited to assist all in becoming a better athlete, and version of themselves here at Three Pillars Performance!
Hello! My name is KyAnn. I graduated from Lincoln Lutheran where my love for sports, especially soccer began. I joined the Military at 17 and really began a lifelong journey of maintaining my physical and mental well being. I graduated from University of Nebraska Kearney where I played soccer and loved every second of it.
I just recently stepped away from full time Military to pursue my passion of helping others be their best version through health and fitness. I continue to learn and grow through education in these areas but have really been honing in on the female body in the context of nutrition, fitness while working with our hormone cycle. I look forward to serving this community and helping everyone show up as their best self possible.
